Aquatic Biological Protection in Hull, Slurry and Shaft Areas
These effects of ultrasound can obviously resist the growth of algae under certain conditions:
When the frequency of ultrasound is 580 kHz, the removal rate of Microcystis is the highest, which indicates that oxidation may be more effective in the removal of microcystis.
Low-frequency and low-energy ultrasound has a strong ability to control the most harmful cyanobacteria in water, and has a good inhibitory effect on green algae and diatoms. Ultrasound parameters of 20-40 kHz and 0.2-0.5 W/cm2 were better than those of green algae and diatoms, and Anabaena spp. was better than Microcystis spp.
Interval work is more effective: 10-15 times a day, 15 minutes each time, the inhibition effect of algae is better.
