Ultrasonic Metal Welding

Working principle of ultrasonic metal welding

Ultrasonic metal welding machine is an advanced high-tech equipment that converts high-frequency electrical energy into mechanical vibration energy through a transducer and applies it to the workpiece, generating high-frequency friction between the surfaces of the two workpieces. When heat is generated by friction and pressure is applied to it, the metal structure molecules are fully activated to form sub layers that fuse together. Can perform spot and strip welding on thin conductive materials such as copper, aluminum, silver, chromium nickel, etc.

Ultrasonic metal welding has its unique advantages

> High fusion strength,

> Excellent conductivity after welding,

> Extremely low or almost zero resistance coefficient;

> Welding materials have non melting and non fragile conductor characteristics;

> Short welding time, greatly improved efficiency, fast and energy-saving;

> Stable welding process, online detection and control;

> No gas, solder, or flux required;

> Welding without sparks or smoke, both environmentally friendly and safe;

> Improving welding quality ensures the reliability of product conductor performance.

Industry application of ultrasonic metal welding

The application fields and industries of ultrasound are diverse, ranging from the automotive industry to the packaging industry. Ultrasonic technology can complete a large number of welding tasks in a very short working cycle and ensure the best connection and highest quality. Ultrasonic waves can also ensure uninterrupted high-quality welding in continuous operations. Regardless of the working method, ultrasound can perform welding and edge sealing tasks excellently.

Ultrasonic Metal Welding - Challenging

> Products that ensure high compatibility with electrical characteristics.

> Welding 2mm thick copper plate and 2mm thick aluminum plate.

> Process Safety - Error Monitoring.

> Welding of New Alloys and Commonly Used Copper Materials.

Compared to welding with a thickness of 4 millimeters, the same mechanical strength is required.

Specific application areas of ultrasonic metal spot welding machine:

Welding of power lithium battery cell lugs

Welding of battery electrodes (welding of different processes such as nickel strip+copper foil, nickel strip+aluminum strip, aluminum strip+aluminum foil, aluminum strip+aluminum cover, aluminum shell+aluminum nickel composite strip, etc.).

Automotive electrical components and other applications (welding of automotive wiring terminals, automotive wiring harnesses, motor terminals, relay plates, electrolytic capacitor electrode plates, carbon brush plates, heat dissipation frame plates, etc.).

Various household appliances, electronic component leads, relays, electromagnetic coils, transformers, etc.
