Application: 

Thermoplastic plastics. Generally, only the same thermoplastic materials are homogeneous (uniformly) weldable.

All thermoplastic materials can be welded except PTFE, but there are material-specific differences between plastics:

ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) can be welded well and easily. The welding temperature is between 270 and 310 °C.

PS (polystyrene) can be welded well and easily. The welding temperature is between 270 and 310 °C.

PP (polypropylene) Pay close attention to temperature and heating time because PP burns very quickly. The welding temperature is between 230 and 280 °C.

PE (polyethylene) can be welded well and easily, but it cannot be bonded with conventional adhesives. The welding temperature is between 220 and 280 °C.

PVC (polyvinyl chloride) Pay close attention to temperature and heating time because PVC burns quickly and produces hydrochloric acid. The welding temperature is between 250 and 280 °C.

PMMA (polymethyl methacrylate) In normal use, it is called acrylic glass. It can be welded well and easily. The welding temperature is between 120 and 180 °C. PC (polycarbonate) can be welded well and easily. The welding temperature is between 270 and 310 °C.Decisive material properties
